NFTs (or 'non-fungible tokens') are "one-of-a-kind" assets in the digital world that can be bought and sold like any other piece of property, but they have no tangible form of their own. Think of them similarly to weapon skins you can buy in games right now, or a phone wallpaper you have to buy to unlock to use. They can be works of art, collectibles, digital games like cards, and more. Essentially, their form is limitless and new use-cases are emerging by the week.
The digital tokens can be thought of as certificates of ownership for virtual or physical asset, and as they're tracked on the 'blockchain', the proof of ownership, record of ownership, price, and other data are trackable forever. With a trading card, if its sold on the private market, you could lose it forever and it's harder to bid on that piece to assign it the worth it clearly has. This issue, and many more, are solved with NFTs and NFT technology.
I am creating NFT options for my store items so that you can choose whether to pick up items in 'fiat' (normal) currency like dollars, or opt in to pay via cryptocurrencies like Ethereum (ETH) on my NFT platform. This allows me to move into the latest emerging technology and sales platform, offer more choice than ever before for my supporters to pick up really cool collectible, special edition and limited edition pieces, as well as riding at the front of a new technology that in the coming months and years everyone will be utilising.
To purchase NFTs, you will need cryptocurrency (such as Ethereum) in a wallet such as MetaMask that can connect to dApps online.
How to set up MetaMask: https://chainbulletin.com/how-to-work-with-metamask-the-simple-guide/
HOW TO BUY FROM MY NFT STORE:
If you've finished the above two steps and purchased crypto/ hold it in your MetaMask wallet, head over to my Rarible page (xxx) and connect your MetaMask by clicking the 'connect' button in the top right of the page.
Once this is connected (click through the MetaMask approvals that will spring up) navigate to one of the NFTs on sale on my page (for example, this limited edition poster: xxx)
